Working together
These are the practical steps for buying a Knight Ops service. Your written proposal and agreed contract set the terms of your engagement. Existing agreements remain in force.
Start with the problem
The introductory thirty-minute call with Frank is free. The Operations Blueprint costs $1,500 USD and covers one workflow: its current state, baseline measures, proposed changes, dependencies and implementation scope. It is usually completed within one week once the necessary people and information are available. You can use the plan with another implementer.
Blueprint credit and implementation
The full Blueprint fee is credited once against an implementation booked within 30 days of Blueprint delivery. It forms part of the implementation total, rather than an additional fee. When the scope is already clear, we can propose installation directly.
A substantial standard workflow installation is $12,000–$18,000 USD. Smaller, clearly scoped improvements are quoted directly; broader systems are planned in phases. A four-to-six-week target is confirmed after scoping. The proposal names the workflow, integrations, data migration allowance, staff roles, training, stabilization period and acceptance checks. Additional properties, complex migration or replacement of an existing reservation platform are quoted separately.
Payment and provider costs
Public prices are in US dollars. The proposal and invoice name the currency payable, payment milestones, applicable taxes and separately billed subscriptions or usage. Installation and ongoing support are priced independently. Additional work or spending needs agreement before it starts.
Ongoing care and managed improvement
Technical care starts at from $600 USD/month. Managed improvement is $1,500–$2,500 USD/month, depending on the agreed allowance. Care covers defined maintenance, monitoring, recovery responsibilities and limited support. Managed improvement adds workflow reviews, prioritized changes and staff training within a capped allowance.
Each proposal specifies covered systems, support hours, response windows and the amount of work included. Monthly service does not finance the installation. Staff activities such as guest messaging, driver dispatch and payment chasing are separate from technical support unless expressly included.
Ownership and handover
Your accounts, data and domain remain under your control. For custom software, the handover includes the agreed deployment and repository, setup and operating instructions, a provider inventory and a recorded walkthrough. Where we configure existing software, its vendor licence continues to apply.
Our proposed custom-software licence is perpetual and non-exclusive for running and modifying the delivered software within your business. Knight Ops retains its reusable components and the right to build similar systems. Your contract records the exact rights, third-party licences, export process and transition assistance. It does not grant resale rights or exclusivity by default.
Content Studio
The new managed package is $1,250 USD/month: one brand, 12 original text/static-image pieces each month, adaptation to 2 agreed connected channels, 1 consolidated revision round, scheduling after approval and a monthly review. A channel adaptation is not another original piece. Content Studio is independently purchasable.
Your approver provides accurate source material, usable account access and timely feedback. Material and approval deadlines are agreed at onboarding. Unapproved work stays unpublished. Client delays and channel outages move the affected schedule. Remedies for missed deliverables within our control are recorded in the service agreement. Reach, followers, leads and revenue are not guaranteed.
Original filming, substantial video or avatar production, extra brands or channels and community management are quoted separately. Standard text and static-image production is included; any extra production allowance or provider charge is agreed in advance. Service is month to month, with cancellation before the next renewal. Existing $497 USD/month pilots keep their agreed scope, price and remedies unless a change is agreed with that customer.
Changes and leaving
Scope changes, cancellation, refunds, notice and transition assistance are recorded in the engagement documents. Ending support does not by itself transfer your business data or accounts to Knight Ops. The handover plan identifies how you or a replacement operator will retain access and continue paying any required providers.
